New Beginnings

 Each of us has new beginning at times throughout our lives. I imagine many such things have taken place in what is undoubtedly one of the strangest of my 55 years. In the past starting near the end of last year, one of my new beginnings was the return to creative writing. I am not gifted perhaps, but some find my work entertaining. You will be able to judge for yourself, as part of this blog will be stories I have worked on and that I am currently working on. Maybe we will decide together what to pursue. In the turmoil that has been 2020, I find myself returning to the idea of publishing a blog, a place for the stories, and to cover other topics surrounding gaming. I have toyed with the idea of a podcast, which I may still do, and if I do, you will find it linked here. My first few blogs will be covering Warhammer 40k or more accurately, my current journey into 40k and 40k Kill Team. So, welcome to my blog, and I hope you return. I have posted the first chapter of a short story. You will find a link on the left.

Tabletop Titans

Tabletop Titans is the name of a youtube channel that I have been watching trying to learn about 40k 9th edition. I haven't played for many years and really wanted to find ways of learning the game without having the luxury of playing many games. The guys at TT are extremely good advocates for the game. They play many live games and display not only good knowledge of the game but extremely good sportsmanship. I would urge anyone interested in the hobby to look them up.  I have not play Games Workshop games for many years. I have personal reasons for having left them, but I have decided to ignore those reasons, because I find myself in the position of helping someone get into the hobby.
